The production process of this Premium Rum takes place in the coffee region of Colombia, where the best ingredients are carefully selected to create a smooth rum with character. This rum is characterized by its unmatched aroma and flavor, thanks to the combination of notes of vanilla, caramel and wood. Each sip is a unique experience, with a dark amber color and silky texture that make it even more attractive.
The elegant and sophisticated bottle in which it is presented reflects the tradition and excellence of the ILC, being an exclusive product that has earned a place in the most demanding palates.
The limited edition of 27 thousand bottles, of Ron Viejo de Caldas León Dormido Finalizado , stands out because its production process ended in Oloroso barrels (wine variety) brought from Spain. Thus, it spends its last months absorbing notes and flavors that shape our new limited edition, which we call finished.
The flavor of Ron Viejo de Caldas León Dormido Finalizado is also influenced by the finishing process in sherry barrels, which gives it a flavor of dried fruits, such as almonds, walnuts and raisins. In addition, there is a touch of citrus and a slightly salty flavor, which balance the sweetness of the other flavors.
The content of each bottle is 750ml and its alcohol volume is 40°. This rum is a limited edition that you can purchase at Licores Medellín, being made with spring waters from the Great Volcano of Nevado del Ruiz.
